A neat idea. However, it's not without its potential drawbacks. There is a fair amount of controversy regarding the effect of electromagnetic radiation on the human body, whether from power lines (http://www.hps.org/hpspublications/a...owerlines.html) or cell phones (http://www.rfcom.ca/programs/interphone.shtml), etc.
To my knowledge, there isn't any conclusive evidence to date that a deleterious effect exists, but it's very hard to prove a negative, i.e., that it's perfectly safe.
