    Self Deefense

Certainly begs the question: Should we arm ourselves with a self defense weapon while out in public?

I assumed the attackers were visiting from the States.
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

Christopher, thank God you are ok! You know, what goes around, comes around..... They need to be careful what they wish for. Stealing a man's wheelchair? The fitting punishment would be if they both end up in chairs!

Ha. I have enough friends in low places to be assured they'd get theirs.

Poor guy though. His sister called a local tv show to talk about it. I'd link but it's very French-Canadian French. She'd stressed that it was a pretty isolated area in the park so he might not have been seen right away. And those who did would have thought he was drunk. What's sad is when the guy broke his neck, he was stuck in the bush for three days, so when he was on the ground, he had some seruious PTSD.

Man, Sydney and Montreal are clearly bad-ass towns.

Stealing a guy's powerchair. Really?!? I mean, these guys make meth dealers look good. If he died from exposure being stranded overnight, they'd be up for murder courtesy of the murder-felony rule.

What major grade a#@holes. I sincerely hope they're caught.

    Chris.

Put me within a half-mile of them walking into court....
Once again, FINE example for the death penalty. Be SURE they don't do it again... or worse.
