    Hi Everyone,

    I was wondering what meds you take and what each of them are for?

    Baclofen - spasms

    Tramadol - pain

    Arthrotek - anti inflammatory

    Macrodantin - prevention of UTIs

    Ketamine pain (becoming ineffective, tapering off and quitting)

    Vicodin pain, near useless

    Zanaflex spasticity

    skelaxin spasms

    cymbalta neuropathic pain (useless but also for depression)

    also Insulin, tricor, diovan

    Clonazepam 2mg for neuropathic pain

    Morphin patch 5µg called Norspan

    Vesicare 5mg for the bladder

    Levaxin for my thyroid

    Calsium and D-vit for my bones

    Prescription Meds:

    Oxycontin - pain

    Oxycodone - pain

    Vicodin ES - bt pain (rarely)

    Ambien and Lunesta (together) - sleep

    Synthroid - thyroid

    Procardia - blood pressure

    Paxil - depression

    Zanaflex - spasticity

    Intrathecal Baclofen - spasticity

    Lasix - lungs/edema (occasional)

    Advair - lung fibrosis

    Albuterol Rescue Inhaler and Nebulizer - lungs

    Over the Counter


    Tums - calcium

    Multivitamin

    B12

    D-Mannose - urine

    Cranberry - urine

    Docusate Sodium - stool softener

    Potassium - replace what's lost with Lasix

    My spouse takes:

    Lyrica - neuro pain

    Cymbalta- mood

    Midodrine-for low blood pressure (passes out sitting uo if does not take)

    Ambien-sleep (does not help much)

    Ativan-if neuro pain gets out of control/anxiety as needed

    Percocet-neck pain

    Omeprazole-acid reflex

    Guaifenesin-thick secretions

    Pulmacort and Albuterol nebs-granuloma in throat,secretions

    Fludrocortisone- trying to see if helps low blood pressure

    Nasonex-when allergy season

    OTC Senna,Colace,Aleve,Vitamins

    Enablex 15mg ER - bladder leakage/spasms
    Minocycline 100mg - Antibiotic prevention UTI
    Ultram 200mg XL - Pain
    Magic Bullet 10mg - Bowel Program
    Baclofen 10mg - neuro pain
    Trazedone 10-100mg - neuro pain
    Norco 5/325mg - Break through pain
    Stimcare - back pain
    Botox as needed for bladder

    Doxycycline 100 bid for infected hardware prophylaxis
    Lyrica 75 twice a day NP pain
    Elavil 25 to 35 twice a day NP pain
    Celebrex 200 twice a day musculoskeletal pain
    Mevacor once a day high cholesterol
    Ambien 5mg qhs prn sleep
    oxyIR breakthrough pain
    currently on cipro for an UTI.....
    Fish oil 1 tsp
    Vit D 2000 qd
    Multivit qd
    2 hours of hard exercise 5 days/week
    2 rest days per week
    Too much coffee
    Soyprotein powder, yogurt, frozen blueberries, frozen cranberries, frozen banana - smoothie.
    one square of dark chocolate for hypertension prophylaxis.
    Minimal or no TV (except 24) these days...
    Hang with Jasper the English pointer
    7 hours sleep
    cath 5 to 6 x day
    Colostomy enema every other day.

    I can't believe how much self care is involved in the SCI game and I probably have it easy..... I had to pad my list to get it close to THC's length !
