    Sue the cheaters???

Do you think spouses should be able to sue the person their spouse has an affair with? I kept the choice simple. Yes or no, then you can give your reasoning. I say no, the courts are cluttered enough as it is.
Stupidity ain't illegal, but it sure is inconvenient.

I don't see the point at all. At the most I could understand suing your spouse for the betrayal but that's all.

I believe in some states that you can sue. I dont remember which ones sorry. Just remember reading about it and seeing it on a tv show before.

You have a legally binding agreement with your spouse not the person they are cheating with. In my opinion that may make the other person a jerk but its your spouse who is liable.

Why would you sue the other person? It's not likely, but they could be completely innocent and not know the they were involved with a person who is in a relationship. I don't understand people who get so pissed of at the 3rd wheel and take back their spouse so easily. If my boyfriend cheated on me, it'd be his ass out the door not just the other woman.
