Yes, it is for standing, but I need an extra seatbelt at chest height, too.

    Great!
Does that back have decent lumbar support?
I desperately need a back with lumbar support as my posture is getting pretty bad.

Why don't these extremely expensive power wheelchairs have more supportive backs? Neither of mine do and both of them cost over 20 grand. PT's just stuff wedges into the back. The last time they gave me a pressure wound.

They should have backs like a Porsche.

Congratulations! I have the C 350; couldn't afford the standing option. I refer to it as my Mercedes. It has made my life so much easier.

    Thumbs up

    Uncle Peter,
Good luck with your "ROLLS ROYCE" of power chairs! I to have the C-500 as well but not the standing model. I was over the weight limit for the standing feature but at least I have the seat elevator feature which comes in handy when I go shopping & want to reach something that is over my head or if I'm in a crowd I can elevate myself above the crowd some what if I want to speak & be heard & not be drowned out by the folks around me.

I will be flying this July for the 1st time w/a power chair to attend for the 1st time the National Veterans wheelchair games in Denver, Colorado. Sure hope the airline doesn't tare up my chair on me especially going to the games as I won't have access to a back up chair like I would if it occurs on the way home from the games.

I get a lot of compliments on my chair. I've had good luck with mine since I've had it since April of 2008. Mine is the high speed model w/the old style electronics. It's also the heavy duty model so it doesn't tilt n recline as far as my old Invacare power chair does.

    Enjoy the new chair.

    Nice ride! Enjoy.

I'm suffering through the worst Invacare storm series I've ever owned, and I've owned three. No longer waterproof and connectors that fail.
