I wanted to ask, if you have ostomies or a mitrofanoff, does this increase the risk of a C-Section? I can't find any info on that.

My urologist told me that if I agreed to a bladder augmentation or urostomy, I would have to have any child via C-Section, due to all the hardware and stuff, and the risk of the augmented part tearing from the bladder. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I always thought having a kid naturally was the best option, especially if you've had several abdominal surgeries.
I'll say it again, I don't have any kids yet, but have wondered this ever since my last abdominal surgery in January '09, because I keep hearing different opinions on the topic.

i have a bladder augmentation with mitro and the dr's preferred i deliver vaginally as they didn't want to have to open me up and dead with adhesions, scars and strange anatomy.
