    elance posting

I am not sure if it is appropriate to actually post jobs here. If not let me know.

I have posted a job on elance, it is a short task requiring perl and mysql experience.

    http://www.elance.com/php/bid/main/p...jobid=19362692

You can view the task description here:

    http://www.tomw.net/19362692.html

If you are a CC member and bid on the job, PM me. I will give preferential treatment to fellow gimp coders.

    Couple disclaimers:

    1. I have never used elance as a provider so don't know if you have to pay anything up front to bid on jobs.
    2. You are competing against dudes in serbia who are stellar and work for 10 bucks an hour. I prefer a care cure member but bids have to be competitive.
    3. I am a pain in the ass and am very exacting, if you are not a professional please don't bid on the job.

    Thanks!

Is this for Unix/Linux or Windows? I don't have an elance account so I apologize if the OS is stated on the elance posting.

I'm a Unix guy so I'll bid on the job, unless the OS is Windoze...

It was unix. Sorry, some guy from Crotia put in a good bid and gave it to him yesterday. I have more stuff in the pipeline, additional unix work as well as some windows stuff. I will post them here before they go up on elance.

window system tray c/c++ dev studio 2003/2008

I have posted another job on elance. You will need at least 2 or more years experience programming windows software professionally to be able to do the work.

If you want to look at the requirements without going to elance you can see them here: http://www.tomw.net/1937763.html

As always if you are a CC member and bid on the job, PM me. I will give preferential treatment to fellow gimp coders.

    Standard disclaimers:

    1. I have never used elance as a provider so don't know if you have to pay anything up front to bid on jobs. There is no guarantee I will pick you.
    2. You are competing against dudes in serbia who are stellar and work for 10 bucks an hour. I prefer a care cure member but bids have to be competitive.
    3. I am a pain in the ass and am very exacting, if you are not a professional please don't bid on the job.

    Thanks!
