    Hopefully this helps.....

    Well, Mike had surgery Friday to remove all the hardware in his back. He is already able to stretch more and his back feels softer to the touch. Hopefully this will relieve some pain that he's been having for the two years since his wreck.

    Praying Mike recovers well & he feels better everyday.

    It is major surgery, but it sounds as though he is doing well. Keep him moving when they let him and he should do well. Also, plenty of fluids and rest.
