Even slow as it is it's still better than it was even 2 or 3 years ago. $100 per month phone and internet.

Does anyone know anything about Bell FIBE? I assume it's fibre optics and is lately being advertised by Bell Canada to be the fastest ... tempted to switch. I'm on cable right now.

Bell Fibe uses fiber optics some of the distance, but it still relies on copper wire (broadbandreports) that travels on phone poles the rest of the way and then into your home. Seems like they're playing word games. I would stay put.
