Probably a far-fetched idea, but it can't hurt to ask.

Hi. Did you ever find an accessible rental? I'm envisioning a 2 month, Wisconsin to Oregon trip this summer, if I can find the right vehicle to rent...

No, I never did. Even if I had, I think the cost would've been prohibitive.

We live in The Netherlands, and plan to visit family in the midwest in August of 2013. We would be interested in renting an RV for about 2 weeks. We would probably fly via Chicago, which is not too far from where your profile says, South Bend, Indiana.

If anyone knows of other accessible RV's in the Chicago area, that would be great too.

Partner of an incredible stroke survivor. Limitations: hemiparesis and neglect (functional paralysis and complete lack of awareness on one side). Equipment: TiLite ZRA 2 and 2GX, Spinergy ZX-1, RioMobility Firefly. Knowledge: relative newbie for high-level equipment (2012), but willing to try to help others who are new with similar limitations (definitely not a guru, but inquisitive).
