So there was no thrust as we think of thrust out of the engine nacelles. Instead the engines created a bubble outside of space/time that moved the enterprise faster than light. (Source)
That makes more sense, I think.

Hmmm. What if two super-massive black holes, each containing masses equal to billions of galaxies, collided?

It´s going to be interesting to see what the James Webb Space Telescope is going to dredge up once it is launched in 2014. I have a feeling that mission is going to be a game changer.

That's about as far fetched as an intelligent energy source creating it all. These guys are really pushing it with the 'theories'

''our universe came from another universe and the other universe is now a parallel universe and we have up to 26 pararell universe possibly"

    LOL

It does seem far fetched, but every plausible theory to date involves
multiple universes. These theories aren't just made up like intelligent
design. They're based on observable facts and known laws of science.

The multiple universe theory is very much made up. Same goes for the theory of black holes.

We all have an intelligent energy source within. We have the ability to create and have an imagination. One main giant grand energy source that created it all doesn't seem so far fetched when you put it that way.

That's what these scientists are technically doing. Just un more detail with 2010AD complexity.

I am interested why you think black hole theory is "made up". It is true you cannot directly observe them, however you can certainly observe the effect they have on their surroundings. The hubble observed a black hole's event horizon almost 10 years ago (Source)

It was just a few years ago that NASA observed what may
be evidence of a parallel universe as well. I'm not sure if it's been
explained since, but a void was found in our universe that's 10,000
times the size of our galaxy.

Yeah, you are talking about this: http://www.digitaljournal.com/articl...allel_universe

really cool stuff, but open to way more interpretation than black hole theory.

I agree. The evidence to support the existence of black holes
is much more convincing, and the void found in '07 doesn't prove
much, yet. I personally don't believe that an argument can be made
against the existence of black holes. Much like dark energy, the
existence of black holes is observed by the interaction with stars
    and galaxies.

My belief is that our universe exists among an infinite number
of universes that create Big Bangs when they come into
contact with each other. This is Dr. Michio Kaku's theory
    called "String Theory."
