Basil works great in an aerogarden. So did most of the herbs - chives, parsley, dill...

LOL OJ ... I'm not as 'west coast' as I may seem.

*sigh* Nothing today. Keep waiting for sprouts. Four days - so due tomorrow - for some of the tomatoes to break through. It's like watching a boiling pot!

    lol
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

Awesome Lynnifer! I've wanted one for a long time! I can't afford to buy one.

Have fun! I know you'll love it.

Mona, check out the sales when you have a few extra $. Aerogarden has an outlet website, currently they're selling a space saver one for $50 approx. Also, sometimes you can get a deal on Amazon or Ebay, etc. I just ordered one for a friend for a gift - full size one with the herb kit for around $80 - a lot less than their usually full prices $199 etc.

    Hurry up little guys....

Actually they seem to grow quite fast. I've only done herbs - I'll be very curious to hear how your beans do.

Close up of Heirloom Tomato plant .. one green bean plant hasn't sprouted yet and one is slow. Jalapeno is peaking through, as well as the other tomato plant (day 11).

Day 11 ... going to have to move the hood up today before the leaves start yellowing. This is so easy ... and I'm usually a serial killer of plants!
