HAha, that's a good one TR!
Well, being from east TN, land of small towns, I'll have to say Carmike is shelling out the cash here for their modernization. This place is HUGE. I went with the intention of seeing avatar(didn't yet) after my first post. I counted again and they were showing 12 movies!
Now in my opinion, that is awesome. Can't remember seeing a theater this big anywhere.
http://tinyurl.com/yffef54 this is the link to their showtimes' page.

Before their building addition this winter, I had went a few times. You had to sit in the back(main entrances were in back). There was a gap that I could fit in behind ALL the seats. This actually was perfect for me. They have VERY loud sound, still do, and this put you on a level with the top two thirds of the screens, which are HUGE also. They fill the whole front wall. If you wanted to sit with more than one person you were screwed tho. I always went alone or took my nephew.
Now there are designated areas in the center that are missing seats and have a large area for wheelers. There were two chairs to my right. Two wheelers and two seats beside of them total, per screen. NOT so good if more numbers are needed but accommodating perfectly those it will hold. Very nice setup. Probably take them a century to get their money back.

Thanx! I really do think that one of the few perks to being a female paraplegic is the chance to get carried around by handsome men on a regular basis.

I also went to the movies one time with a female friend. I weighed less than 110 lbs at the time and she is a strongly built woman, a US soldier, no less. The looks on people's faces when she carried me up the stairs... jaws literally dropped! Now THAT was fun!

    Settlement info

Here is a copy of the settlement between Carmike and DOJ Civil Rights regarding access:

But the ADA settlement appears to not be the only one:

    And an obesity settlement:

Haha, some people. Obesity is NOT a disability, it is a FAILURE to control self.
Hell, I'M thinking of suing because you can't find CLOTHES to fit a human shaped individual anymore. It's all extra large sizes, streeeeetch material, baggy crap that normal folks can fit 3 people in.

If this globe keeps spinning long, starvation is soon to be a problem. We don't have the arable land to feed all the animals that which they should not eat, to fatten them up for slaughter.

Far as rapists/child molesters go, just shoot them on the spot, they should not be allowed to live.

Not exactly right. Obesity can be a disease. My mother was a matchstick all her life. Then at around 40 she put on lots of weight and was unable to lose it even though she stuck to a rigid diet and exercise program. It took the stupid docs 10 years to find out she had major thyroid disfunction as well as b12 deficiency. A year later, after taking daily shots and oral meds, the problem disappeared just as unexpectedly as it had appeared.
