It took the edge off and that's what I was hoping for. I was taking lorcet, but it made me itch. So far, so good!
Good to hear, Skyco. Please give us more details about how it's working, dosage, etc. Always anxious to hear about new stuff and it looks like you're the first here to try this one. Glad you're getting some relief.

I'm taking 20 mg a day, I go back in 3 weeks to see if this helps. I'd say it's about the same as taking a vicodan es w/o all the tylenol. I have had severe constipation, and will be adding more fruit in my diet.
So you think it is helping with the burning? A lot of people don't get any benefit from narcotics for neuro pain, so I'm glad to hear it's having an impact for you. IMO one of the most likely ways they can help neuro pain is by quieting down other "normal" pain that's activating the pathways, thus causing less stress on the nerves, hence less neuro pain.
Like I say, it takes the edge off. I'm still able to function, like get up 6 in the morning get dressed and go to work, keep my mind on what I'm doing. The burning is still there, but I'm not thinking about it as much as I would be with out it.
