How much are you willing to spend?

Learn from the mistakes of others, you won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

They are not quite ready for mass production, but PCI-Express is a new standard to take the place of the PCI card. New motherboards are in the works and Alienware has created a motherboard with dual video cards. We are taking $7,000. You can never have the latest and greatest, just the latest on the shelves.

DA, make it easy on yourself. Buy an XBOX. I hate playing games on the PC. Not that I play them much anyway. My gaming days have been over for a while now.

When I was REALLY into video games I was playing my NEO*GEO. Anyone remember that great gaming system? SNK? I still have it. The game cartridges are as large as a VHS. It was the arcade system brought to the home. Man those were the days!

Without a doubt, but the question was:
[QUOTE]what specs would give the hottest gaming pc today?[QUOTE]

Neither reply gives specifications, but the hottest gaming PC is going to cost and cost big.

NEO*GEO was nice... there are some good Emulators for it.

DA, what kinda games do you play? My first console was an Atari 2600.
