What is crap? Don't hit the messenger "the piano player", this is a Australian top notch study, -go after Ian . But it is very serious, say in the US, more Santas now start to push drugs and guns? Not good.

The gross commercialisation of Christmas leaves me more than usually cynical at this time of year, I cant help thinking that most kids in western societies would benefit more from being dropped off in a 3rd world village for a few days or weeks rather than indulging and being indulged in what has become for many simply a festival of gluttony.

If you run across this santa handing out drugs and guns, tell him to keep the drugs, but I'm still waiting for that Mossberg shotgun I ordered.

As rehab rhino says "I assume you all have guns and crack"...pure hype, nothing else.

That nutty professor's premise derived from a "study of the literature" is pure crap.

You say this is a "top notch study." It is nothing more than a fruitcake spoutting off for attention.

This nut job says if Santa sneezes and/or coughs ten times a day, all the chikldren who sit on his lap are going to come down with swine flu or some other maladay. This is the professor's opinion, not science. Gosh, in the USA we have Sec. Kathleen Sebilious instructing us how to sneeze and cough properly

I looked, but only saw your name associated with the initial post--no Ian.

Leif, in this country, as in most others, drug pushing is an equal opportunity profession. Not likely some pusher dressed as Santa selling crack is going to lead a youngster to life long addiction .
