Thanks Cory. The 13 yr old is just starting to think girls might not be as slimy as he thought. They are both into graphics big time. They are pretty mature kids. I think they will probably see it if it ever hits the boonies.

I was being facetious since that's the only message he took from the film.

However, I will note that I don't berate people for believing death would be better than disability. Death is not the worst thing that can happen to you. In fact, it happens to all of us. Take a trip to a burn unit in a hospital and tell me you'd not think death may be blessing. Imagine living life when a UTI is at its worst. Of course, death would be a release in that circumstance.

The movie never has looked tempting to see to me. The previews looked kinda neat up until the blue avatar people. That guys legs did look really atrophied!

Cory, that IS hilarious though...I've noticed many people don't see disability related humor. One friend has told me she has went to work laughing about me even in crazy rehab days & they told her she should be more empathetic...geez, I don't want empathy, damn it laugh at me !

Todd, I kinda see things your way too. It depends on the situation though although I want nobody to feel that need. I get you.
