It has been a really hard time for her as of late.

During the summer months care is taken to ensure that exposure to sun and hot temps are avoided, but by the time winter starts coming around her body is just exhausted it seems and the symptoms start piling on like clockwork in december.

She cannot see well and optic neuritis is a real problem as she starts with all of the major symptoms of MS plus a boatload of the rarer ones. The bouts of ON are somewhat reduced with the neurontin she takes for another reason as is the incidence of trigeminal neuralgia. I thought that was somewhat interesting.
