I desperately need a new chair!!

I'm a year and four months post...

I'm still rollin around in a TANK.. (manual)

    I also have a powerchair...

But is doesn't work half the time..

    and...

I still have great upper body (minus the hands)

    Wrists are great...

So what chair should I look into

    (i.e brands styles ect.)

I'm pretty active all things considered

But not lookin to spend a whole lot of money...

    If possible...

    Know where I can look?

    Hello Westley,
Sorry to read about your accident. Are you looking to switch to a manual chair? If so TiSport makes some great chairs but they are costly as they are made out of titanium. A source you might check is Craigslist, E-Bay.Watch here as members offer chairs they want to sell or giveaway from time to time.
Hope you get what your looking for so you can get in a reliable chair & get out of the tank that your rolling around in that you said doesn't work half he time.
I wish you the best in your search.

    Take care !

I wish I got a commisson for all the times I have recommended these sites, but you can check out what's out there at

    www.spinlife.com
    www.sportaid.com

I ordered a manual chair about 18 months ago from Spinlife and had good luck with them. I ordered a few options and hoped they would get it right, and they did.
Sorry about your recent SCI, but glad that you have good upper body strength. You do need to protect it by getting out of that tank and into something lighter and easier to propel.

I think this is the best chair that you can get at a lower price.

what eileen said... and also bike-on sell the colours spazz-g for under a thousand. some here have it, and it seems an excellent chair for the price. that price is brand new, direct from the factory, with standard options
