What are you having for Thanksgiving?

I love to see what everyone cooks for Thanksgiving as there are many regional dishes and traditional family dishes that are so different and unique!

    We're having:

    Smoked Turkey
    Apple/Sausage/Cornbread Stuffing
Broccoli Casserole (just like the Green bean casserole, just with broccoli)
    Sweet Potatoes
    Mashed Potatoes
Green Beans Simmered in Ham Hocks
Saurkraut (my father's tradition, wouldn't have a T-day meal without it)
    Cranberry Sauce
    Gravy
    Pumpkin Pie

    What is watergate salad?

My brother and Decco are still able to eat some, but I'll be savoring my Jevity. My sister is making cranberry sauce today, and she does all the good things , turkey, chestnut dressing, mashed potatos, asparagus casserole (same as green bean but with asparagus and peas), fruit salad with cream cheese, corn, homemade rolls, pumpkin roll, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. She also cooks rutabagas every year, but nobody really likes them other than my Grampa. He loves them. I think there will be 22 for dinner. She usually cooks a big turkey and a couple of turkey breasts because everyone comes trolling on Friday for turkey sandwiches.

The one good thing is that my smeller doesnt work anymore, I would have to leave the house.

We do the quickie, every thing boxed, instant potatoes, pepperidge farm dressing, etc, why cook all day to have kids sit down for 10 min, eat and "have to go". It's ALL about the leftovers anyway.

That's one meal I keep pretty traditional. Haven't decided all of it, but probably:

Brined turkey (it comes out really moist and flavorful)
Stuffing (regular stuff, bread celery walnuts onions sage etc.)
Mashed potatoes, or perhaps roasted ones
    Kentucky Bourbon sweet potatoes
    Broccoli au gratin
    Corn (probably off the cob)
    Cranberry Orange relish
    Pumpkin pie (for me)
    Apple pie (for hubby)

Unless I think of something else, that'll do.
