    Question about GTX wheel locks...

I really want to get side guards with fenders and the company getting my [quickie] GTX wheelchair for me said they will but the vendor yesterday emailed me and said the standard push-to-lock wheel locks are no longer available with that set up. If I get the scissor locks, will I be able to replace them with the push-to-locks? (I'd buy them off the Quickie website or something like that.) Also, what do the scissor locks look like and how do they work?
