Thread: I need your browsers....

    I need your browsers....

if you DO NOT have the Quicktime plugin installed, please check this page out & tell me if the images load.... not the 12 on the main page, but each page that they link to.

I have a script running that loads a Java viewer if the user doesn't have Quicktime... & I have no way of testing it

    thanks!

I'm running a barebones XP install and the images inside the 12 pages load fine... very cool.

    Pat -

I have a couple methods of creating these VRs, and it's 100% still photography. What I used for these was an optically perfect parabolic mirror which a camera is aimed directly upwards at. It captures a full 360-degree shot with only one frame. I have software that unwraps the images to create what you see on the site.

This is the thing I used on top of the lens:

If you get rid of most of the initial URL & go to www.face5.net, I have some samples of higher-resolution images created from multiple images stitched together. Check out the full-screen versions (Quicktime required)... but if you don't have broadband, be prepared to wait

It worked for me. I'm using the OS/2 version of Mozilla 1.4.

I had to use Internet Explorer 6.0 because Mozilla 1.4 did not work .

thanks a bunch guys. I was curious about this b/c I sent these images to the State Fair staff to see if the could use them... or more (marketing scheme); I needed to be sure the images all worked.
