Its my daughter who has SCI, these are two songs I heard on one of our many trips to therapy she had on her kids music cds.

At the begining of her SCI, I felt so scared and alone. I didnt want her to feel that way either. I would never let her face her fears and uncertaintys by herself. These two songs helped me more than her, shes a bit young to understand the meanings, but I am going to be there beside her every step of the way to overcome all that SCI gives.

Stay safe my son. See you around thanksgiving!

Dear ZNOP I am just thinking hard about lot's of thing's music and other activities that Motivate'd me to get through my SCI Episode I'll call it ok ?
The way humans are hardwired we all fall into bouts of Depression or Aggrivation , Anxiety Panic or much more but I think somewhere I hit the nail on the head as a example .

I agree One of the best and totally unique

When I broke my neck in 71 John Denver's " Take me home, Country Roads" was a song that was very soothing even though I was a rock'in'roll
    kinda guy.

Your struggle may be different - but the message stays the same.

    Life is a Dance

By John Michael Montgomery-Here are the Lyrics

When I was fourteen I was falling fast
For a blue eyed girl in my homeroom class
Trying to find the courage to ask her out
Was like trying to get oil from a waterspout
What she would have said I can't say
I never did ask and she moved away
But I learned something from my blue eyed girl
Sink or swim you gotta give it a whirl

Life's a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don't worry about what you don't know
Life's a dance you learn as you go

The longer I live the more I believe
You do have to give if you wanna recieve
There's a time to listen, a time to talk
***And you might have to crawl even after you walk***
Had sure things blow up in my face
Seen the longshot, win the race
Been knocked down by the slamming door
***Picked myself up and came back for more***

Life's a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don't worry about what you don't know
Life's a dance you learn as you go

Life's a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don't worry about what you don't know
Life's a dance you learn as you go
Life's a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don't worry about what you don't know
Life's a dance you learn as you go

    Life's a dance
    Life's a dance
    Life's a dance
    Take a chance on love
    Life's a dance
    You learn as you go

I heard the song, "Comfortably Numb" while I was in a coma.

One song that speaks to me is Oingo Boingo's, "Out of Control."
