You have my deepest condolences, Bethany. When my mom died, I didnt think I would ever be able to live without her, but somehow , life goes on. Thank God for good memories. All the best.

I'm sorry to read this. I'm dreading the day my grandma passes which is coming soon...i hope your family pulls each other close during this time and that you can smile on the good and bad memories.
Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow.

    Betheny, sorry for your loss.

You know, as the Catholics say(I know it's been said to me by many), Your mother sure was dealt the raw end of the stick, with all the health and mental problems, she served her time in purgatory on earth. But then what that says for you, caring for her all this while on earth, you,ve put your time in on earth (includeing dealing with your brother too, good luck with him, I hope he doesn't use this as another excuse to go on a toot).
Soo God speed, and may she be in heaven before the devil knows she's gone.
