The number 30 makes me really nervous. I'm at 24yrs & 4 months. I wonder how I'll be by then working shift work and having dealt with some serious pressure wounds. Will I still be able to drive my car or will I have to switch to a van by then ...

So I like seeing numbers like this! Any advice for the rest of us?

You're a survivor Peter, congratulations. Lynnifer, I'm right behind you at 23 years and 3 months. I think I've reached the point of diminishing returns when time after injury is the parameter. First year, hard. Years 2-20, pretty damned good. Years 20-present, going downhill. I hope to arrest this downward trend and swing it around. I can hope.

I am one month away from 40 years and I am still alive. And I am not back to the beginning - yet

Don't have anything to add to the above good advice.

But may I say DeadEye, you have a great smile!

The time does fly. Been C5 complete for 27+ years now - I'm healthier and fitter than I've ever been. Plus, apparently ladies in their 30s aren't as put off by the quadness...

    Keep on truckin' all!
