Exclamation Quantum Blast X-treme Heavy Duty Power Wheelchair RWD

Pride Mobility Quantum Blast X-treme, $1100

Lightly used power wheelchair, purchased in 2003 for over $10K from Pride Mobility. The original Blast X-treme shroud, forks and rear drive wheels were replaced with Blast 850 forks, wheels, tires and shroud. This effectively lowered the wheelchair to the ground, allowing it to fit inside a lowered floor VMI conversion minivan with headroom to spare. The Quantum Blast X-treme programmable electronics are in excellent condition. Tires, desk length arm-pads and upholstery are all in like new condition. However, the wheelchairs’ group 24 batteries need to be replaced, as they are the original group 24 wheelchair batteries that came with the Blast X-treme, and are completely drained. It has 4 Pole 12mph electric motors! It will do every bit of 12mph over level ground. Going downhill, the wheelchair will go a bit faster than 12mph; scared the hell out of me the first time that I did it back in ‘02. Now with the smaller diameter drive wheels and shorter forks from the Quantum Blast 850 the wheelchair is crazy fast.

I will deliver the wheelchair for an additional $30, if you live within Cleveland metro area east or west. If the buyer lives outside metro area but within CuyahogaCounty give an additional $50 and I will bring it to your door. However, all payments must be made in advance via PayPal or in cash. Sorry, I do not accept checks or money orders.

Here is a list of the wheelchairs features:

    Onboard battery charger
    Sport track suspension front/rear
Active anti-tip wheels, they will not hang on curbs
    Swing-away controller arm
    Removable desk length armrests
    Swing-away leg-rests
