Not soooo new but it's still new to me

I discovered CC last November and have been reading your posts off and on since. I've made a few posts myself and have been meaning to introduce myself but just didn't get around to it until now.
So, hello to everyone and here's a little background info............My name is Debbie and I was injured in Jan. '08. I fell down my basement stairs and just forgot to "bounce" the right way. That incorrect bounce left me a C6-7, complete, Asia A. I have found this site and the people associated with it to be a great source of knowledge, understanding, compassion and inspiration. I have find myself coming here first to find answers to my many questions and find great comfort in knowing that I'm not crazy for "feeling" this or that, that I'm not the only one thinking such thoughts and that life does go on and it can go on in a postive, happy direction.
I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge--it does help!

Welcome to this area of the met. If we seem a bit heavy handed, ignore them. If we seem a bit nice and welcomeing, accept it, we won't bite. Happy to have new members, always.

So glad you found Care Cure. It's a great source of information.

Don't be discouraged by the occasional snarky response from people.

    I wish you well.
Ugh, I've been kissed by a dog!

Just like regular life, there is a broad spectrum of options. But with one common goal here to get information and even more important to me anyway, to find out I am not alone when I find myself feeling sorry for myself.

Yes there is infighting, but it is almost as good as running a mile, getting my blood pressure up. Welcome and remember to just keep coming back, I need you along with everyone here!
