Spinergy Sox replacement spoke question ?

I see that Spinergy sells replacement spokes for their wheels, my dog chewed a couple really badly on my spox wheels...can I buy the replacement spokes and bring the to me local bike shop to have replaced and balenced ?

Any info is much appreciated as I don't want to order the replacements and have them unable to fix the wheels.

I'm glad you've asked this question. I just got my first set of spinergies.

I would take it to the bike shop as they'll probably already know what they need.

I see sportaid.com sells green and pink spokes now - I want the pinkies!!!!

What is the span of time for a spoke - how often do they pop if they do?
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

My puppy chewed on them and removed the outer blue coating, and some he did actual damage to the metal part of the spoke. They sell replacements and we have a good bike shop down the street --I think I should be able to just order the replacements and bring them there to have fixed. I know they don't carry the spokes but if I bring them in I don't see why they couldn't fix. Hub is okay, just about 5 spokes are messed up.

    Yes they will do it.
Here is a pic where you can see how to replace spokes in LX, it`s very easy, Spox are the same only their spokes are thinners.

Hmm... I didn't get a tool with mine from the DME. Wonder if I can order one or if the bike shop will have one.

Don`t worry about that, the bike shop will have, you don`t need special tools.

I would definitely take it to a bike shop and have them replace the spoke and use a truing stand to make sure that everything is good and straight. They most likely deal with Spinergy bike wheels on a regular basis, plus you're only asking for trouble if you don't use the proper tools.

No way I'd try to fix the spokes on my own, bike shop is where it's going since my DME doesn't have a truing stand. Thanks Everyone
