Thread: The Freewheel

    The Freewheel

So ya,i ordered up one of Pats Freewheels. It arrived on Thursday, which is pretty freaking outstanding considering i ordered it on the 8th!

My review, this is the best thing ive spent money on in years! Are you kidding me,holy shit! Straight out of the box, attached in like 5 seconds and gone..and i mean gone! Flyin across the grass, the crappy hole filled end of the garden and out into the gravel alley behind our place..heres where it really blew me away!

We recently had a pretty decent storm,so the alley is not only gravel and filled with potholes, its littered with twigs and branches up to 2inches round..I started at one end and took off,as fast and as hard as i could push straight down the middle of it. Flew through the potholes, floated over the branches just a good steady snort with no slowing down.Amazing! As a guy who spends alot of time off the beaten path..Thanks Pat!

    Isn't that 4 words?

    I'm investigating.

I have a pile (re: dozens) of user reviews that say what Shaun says. It's very motivating.

    Hi smirking1,

To tell you the truth, I have more time on my FreeWheel in the winter than I do in the summer. I need it in the winter to get around! It has saved my bacon many times. Dropping my ramp out of the van onto unplowed parking lots has produced too many endoes and cold, wet puppies. But, coasting down into the great white is fun and easy!

Even as a quad, I can ski independantly because I can get in and out of the lodge myself. This feels good. And when people grab my wheelchair handles and "try" to help, I don't get thrown forward anymore when the casters dig in! The wheel out front keeps that from happenning.

I could go on, but I won't. Let me know if you have any more questions.
