Thread: Mmm protein pudding

    Thumbs up Mmm protein pudding

    Here is a way to up your protein and have a snack.

    Ingredients:

    * 1 box of sugar-free, fat-free pudding mix
    * 1 1/2 cups skim milk
    * 1-2 scoops protein powder

    Directions:

    Prepare the pudding according to package directions, using the slightly reduced volume of skim milk. After pudding consistency has been reached, blend in the protein powder and then chill to let set.

    Note that the brand of protein powder you use will influence the consistency of the pudding - some protein powders tend to make it thinner, while others will make it thicker, so adjust the volume of milk added accordingly.

    Thumbs up Good Idea!

    Not to mention the protein you'd be getting from the milk. Instead of skim milk I like Smart Balance's fat-free milk. It tastes good and doesn't seem to be as thin as regular skim milk.

    I beat you to your own concoction champ.

    We had a box of banana flavored instant pudding in the pantry and used that along with 1 scoop of GNC's banana flavored protein. Started out with 1 1/2 cups of milk instead of the 2 cups the box said. It became very thick so we had to add a little more milk to thin it out. Since it was instant and already set, I tried some before putting the rest in the refrigerator. That's a very tasty way to get that extra protein. Thanks for the post!

    I'd also be interested to know how you are cutting - what your diet is consisted of, etc. How much you weigh?
