    Sue, also, so I have heard...(don't know first-hand) you can use an old cell phone to dial 911 if need be IF the phone is charged up...

    That's good to know in an emergency situation, if it is really true...

    Someone at work was telling me it would work...

    they do work!

    The SafeLink program has been used by our church's social ministries program, recommended for all our clients who must have a means of communication and cannot afford a cell phone or even sometimes a home phone.

    Visit the website, follow the instructions, and in a week or less you have phone with nearly 90 minutes per month of free talk time. Income based.
