The annual fund-raiser to benefit the Emily Hunt Foundation will involve dancing and music by recording artist B.J. Thomas, with the aim of collecting money for spinal cord injury research and education.

Emily Hunt was only 4 when she was paralyzed after an amusement park ride accident in 1996. The foundation, set up by her father, Michael Hunt, was established to help anyone who has a spinal cord injury.

The fund-raiser, called "The Nutcracker -- All Jazzed Up," will take place Saturday at the Murat Theatre, 502 N. New Jersey St. Tickets at the $75 level include a performance by the Stage I Dance Performance Company, featuring Emily as Clara, along with a cocktail and appetizer reception and silent auction starting at 6 p.m. Tickets at the $20 level are for the Thomas concert only, which starts at 9 p.m.

Call 1-317-250-7262 for ticket information.
