    If you haven't done so already, grab some binoculars and see if you can spot Comet Lulin:

    You'll need fairly dark skies to see this one. It's a bit of an oddball comet. It's pale green, likely has never been this near the sun before and might never come back again, and has some other unusual orbital characteristics. At the moment (Feb 27) it's right next to Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo, which makes it easy to find.
