Stoke Mandeville first in UK for spinal care equipment

The National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital has become the first NHS unit in Britian to receive an international accreditation for excellence in the care of adults and children with spinal cord injury.
It joins four other units in Europe to be awarded the highest level of CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accreditation for a three year period.
