    Listening to the recently acquired discography of Eric Clapton. He's had more "periods? than Picasso. I saw him live a lot before he started to sing - back when he borrowed heavily from B. B. King's guitar work. It was quite a surprise to learn that he was such an expressive singer.

    My new favourite band is Them Crooked Vultures. I saw them on SNL Saturday and was like 'Hey, that's the guy from Queens of the Stone Age on guitar. Wait a sec... that's Dave Grohl on the drums! Hmm, who's that old guy on bass? Is that... OMG! It's John Paul effing Jones!'

    And his horse penis? I thought it was ok but the Rahm Emannuel bit at the end was the best IMHO. They should have opened with it.

    Yeah I dunno, I'm really hooked on that first song they played.

    I like that song - thanks for posting it. I'm not up on whats new, I only find out about a new group or song when its on Jimmy Kimmel or Perez Hilton talks them up.
