    Crank it up tunes

I turned 14 in Nov of that year, and this song I used to crank up all the time. Life is grand when you're 12, 13 and 14 yo.

My god, this is enough to give an old, crippled lesbian a heart attack.....there's even a cartwheel involved around 2:35.......

Danine, old crippled lesbians don't die from heart attacks, they die if and when they do from love of life, from the joy and all the heartbreaks that always seem to accompany that joy.

I love Heart - Barracuda is one of their best. Maybe their best ever.

To piss off older folks when I was a kid, I'd crank up AC/DC - they thought I was worshiping the devil

    Back in black
    I hit the sack
I've been too long I'm glad to be back
    Yes, I'm let loose
    From the noose
    That's kept me hanging about
I've been looking at the sky
    'Cause it's gettin' me high
Forget the hearst 'cause I never die
    I got nine lives
    Cat's eyes
Abusin' every one of them and running wild
    CHORUS:
    'Cause I'm back
    Yes, I'm back
    Well, I'm back
    Yes, I'm back
    Well, I'm back, back
    (Well) I'm back in black
    Yes, I'm back in black
    hey hey hey hey hey
    Back in the back
    Of a Cadillac
Number one with a bullet, I'm a power pack
    Yes, I'm in a band
    With a gang
They've got to catch me if they want me to hang
Cause I'm back on the track
    And I'm beatin' the flak
Nobody's gonna get me on another rap
    Don't look at me now
    I'm just makin' my play
Don't try to push your luck, just get out of my way
    CHORUS
well, I'm back, Yes I'm back
Well, I'm back, Yes I'm back
    Well, I'm back
    Well I'm back in black
    Yes I'm back in black
    hooo yeah
    Ohh yeah
    Yes I am
    Oooh yeah, yeah Oh yeah
    Back in now
    Well I'm back, I'm back
    Back, I'm back
    Back, I'm back
    Back, I'm back
    Back, I'm back
    Back
    Back in black
    Yes I'm back in black
    Out of the sac!

LOL...I grew up in one of those crazy fundamentalist Southern Baptist churches...no wonder I'm messed up in the head...LOL, again.

We were told that AC/DC stood for "Against Christ/Devil's Children" and KISS was "Kids In Service To Satan"......god, it's a miracle I survived my religious upbringing!

Lol, well, you had a more difficult upbringing than did I. My folks let us kids find out for ourselves what we believed in when we got to be about 8 or so. The older people I used to piss off were teachers, coaches, friend's moms and the older generation in general But I sure as hell had an easier time than you did Danine, what with you growing up in the Baptist church.

So you were more brave, and I had it easy The boys and girls are back in town...
