The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

I can't wait to see this film:

It's going to tear at my heart strings incredibly, but I bet it's going to be an amazing film to see.

    Hi Todd,
I am hoping to see this sometime this week. Everytime they run the ad on television I come close to tears, so I had better pack an entire box of kleenex with me when I go.

A good story and well done, but the strong English accents of the actors, who were all supposedly German, was a bit disconcerting. I would still recommend it though, and yes, take some Kleenex with you.

I don't know about the need for kleenex but it looks very good. I'll be adding it to my Netflix queue, thanks Todd.

It does look like it will be a good movie as does the upcoming one called Australia. I wonder how accurate they are as in historical terms though.

Here's links to two reviewers I generally reference.

They a) don't particularly care for the film and b) flat don't like it - and are detailed and articulate in explaining why.

I'll leave it out of my netflix queue, which is just as well because they don't have it and have no plans on getting it.

Juke, I'll quote Madonna: "Poor is the man whose pleasures depend on the permission of another." A critic is just that: a critic. Their opinions are no more valid than your own or mine.

For the culinary values of a food I'm unfamiliar with I go to experts and chefs. For the likely watchability of a film I'll check with critics who's views, values and opinions have proven useful/accurate over time for me.

For how to reinvent my pop star image, I would go to Madonna - and that's about it.

You can use the links or keep hoping your heart strings will be plucked - and not that other word that rhymes with plucked.
