    stress test question

    i just had a stress test and the doctor said my injection fraction was 38%
    what is refering to ?
    he explained it a little, it is the percentage of blood pumped into the heart. prior to this he said my injection fraction was 30%, so mine incressed by 8% which he said is good. but normal he said is 85% to 95%
    so can anyone clarify ...... thanks

    Ejection factor is a measure of how much of the blood in your heart is ejected - pumped out - at each beat. Normal is around 55% or above.
