    ICORD building opens

    In about 10 minutes.

    122,000 sq ft and $45 million at Vancouver General Hospital. It was supposed to open this summer but better late than never.

    Now that the building is finally done I hope that they can attract enough funding dollars to fill it with researchers ready to get done to work.

    I still think less money should have been spent on the cosmetic aspects of the building & that money put into research/equipment/operations. But at least everything is now under one roof & who knows maybe the design of the building my provide some inspiration.

    I was there for the grand opening! It was wonderful! I happened to be sitting up front with all the dignitaries -those known in B.C. anyway, like Mike Harcourt and Sam Sullivan. And here's the man of the hour with our premier behind him.
