    my SCI journey

I am now two years into this journey. My logical mind says it is okay to accept this, move forward and even be happy. My emotional side believes that as soon as I accept my injury than I have given up on walking, etc. I know this isn't true but I can't seem to stop the see-saw ride. I know that I am not alone on this. I just wanted to share/vent/express my feelings to those that can understand. Thank you for reading and allowing me to vocalize.

I'd be very surprised if this resolves itself much before you're five years post Kathy.

I can promise you the see-saw swings less and less as time goes by.

I'm about a year further out, and I have to say that I am still see sawing. I do feel though that the "move on" side is starting to win a little more often.

    God bless you.

I knew I'd accepted it when I dreamed and I was in my wheelchair.
