    Camping Etiquette....

    Does anyone have any?
We went camping this weekend at a state park and the number of ppl (kids mostly) that were walking thru other ppl's campsite was shocking. I even heard complaints of kids riding bikes thru campsites.
Am I way off on this or is this really rude? Is it grounds for throwing flaming chunks of wood at them?
Stupidity ain't illegal, but it sure is inconvenient.

Not sure about throwing wood at them but you should have spoken to the park ranger and or there parents that is rude.

    it's rude.

just carry some twine or something to tie between trees to create a little border.

or look for campsites further away from other people.

    Rude. Oh, so much.

Scott has it with getting further away from other people.

You might also try camping when children are in school (not fall break or on a weekend).

Ditto for what he said about twine. That could work, but you need to hope the little darlings don't literally clothesline themselves on your twine sending litigiious parents to the first available attorney.

I prefer flamethrowers to blazing chunks of wood, but that's just me.

Scott's idea is good. You can upgrade to piano wire at neck level in difficult cases.

Being close to the bath house is nice, but I think I might have to start camping on my FIL's property. No bath houses, but no rude people either...just me and mine.

Those are kids with no home training. Shame on the parents.
