    Shot 14 times? Wow he is doing well.

    i hate that they had to amputate his leg. i also hate that they told him he'd never walk again. the positives are that he's a para which will allow him to achieve full independence and he has enough money to build an accessible home. gosh, he survived a lot. i wish him the best.

    Collier will undergo physical therapy to learn how to move from his bed to a wheelchair. He will never walk again, the doctor said.
    Incomprehensible and criminal to say such a thing.

    Don't forget there is probably a difference between what the Dr.s said & how the media interpeted it or decided to use the information.

    That would seem to be pretty conclusive.

    But I don't understand what's wrong with his doctors telling him that
    he'll never walk again.

    His spine was hit by a bullet and he's paralyzed. Unless his cord
    miraculously heals itself, i'd say that's a fair and honest prognosis.

    What I don't understand is why are these professionals out at 3:00 AM nothing good happens at that time of the morning.
