    regarding supplies listed on ebay-

How come the standard IC caths aren't ever listed, do I just not see them or what?

I have a """"""friend"""""" who is interesting in making some room in her supply closet by clearing out the significant backstock "she" has acquired of IC Caths, but when "she" looks on ebay to see if anyone else sells the 14 fr apogee self contained style, noone does, it's all either the all-inclusive kits that come with gloves and the whole works or the male caths that are condom style.

Are these type just not as commonly used or what?

I searched this site too to look for answers for "her" to no avail.

I'm interested in the condom caths. What brand name and size are they?

uhh, search on ebay for them then?

there's all kinds of them on there, and never any of the standard style self contained cath and bag style, which prompted my question.

I wonder if they just aren;t as common? I use either a straight cath, or I have some of those all contained kits, with all the extras. (Of which I save the gloves, and toss the rest.) I didn;t know they were even available just the catheter and bag combo.

I had to use the Cath and bag a couple of times in the hosp. when they ran outta the straight fr14, they worked ok, but still use the plain cath.
I too have a friend who has taken to cleaning " his " caths and reusing, and shipments of caths, gloves, surg lube, and hibiclens kept coming at the rate of 200 a month.
So " he " noiw has a backlog of 600 caths." OH what to do,what to do"

If you list catheters on Ebay they often remove the listing - they say it is prohibited because it is a prescription item.
I was trying also to clean out my storage closet and couldn't list the catheters.
If you find a site they can be listed - I would be interested.
