    Keep Me In Your Heart

Today marks the five year anniversary of Warren Zevon’s passing due to a form of cancer called mesothelioma.

    Beautiful tribute.

He really went out as a class act... lots of courage to live full tilt right up till the end & go out with friendship and loved ones doing what he was passionate about...

    great post.

Foolish! Would you think before you post, I saw the title of this thread and immediately went to the National Hurricane Center site expecting to see Ike knocking on your door!

I think of Warren Zevon every time that damn Kid Rock song 'All Summer Long' comes on the radio. It opens using a sample from 'Werewolves of London', I always get excited and turn it up expecting to hear Warren, but no.

[Nothing against Kid Rock mind you, in fact his song is kind of catchy.]

I always think it's going to be Werewolves of London too, and get bummed by the kid rock song. :/

"Enjoy every sandwich...." Warren Zevon to David Letterman, on his last appearance on "Late Night."
"Music will always find its way to us, with or without business, politics, religion, or any other bullshit attached. Music survives everything, and like God it is always present. It needs no help, and suffers no hindrance. It has always found me, and with God's blessing and permission, it always will." Eric Clapton

Kid Rock is BOUND to be sued for that, right? There is sampling, and there is plagiarizing!
