Same here. I miss coffee so much, but like I've said, continence trumps indulgence.
I'm actually considering trying [shudder] decaf.

There's no getting around it. If you're a gimp and drink a strong cup of coffee you're going to need to drink lots of water to make up for the dehydration effect of that cup. Since it's best to get the 'replacement' water in your system right away that single cuppa may well account for a half gallon or more output.Originally Posted by sjean423
Of course you can forego the coffee and avoid the problems althogether. And drink tea.![]()

I switch to tea in the afternoon, funny the caffeine in tea doesn;t bother me as much.

Everybody seems to notice that and agree. Whole different delivery system.
What I love about most of the teas I drink - bulk teas for teapot infussions - is that you can remove most of the caffine with a brief infussion w a little water that you dump in the drain. That's the little thing. The big one is that you can keep making pot after pot of tea with the original amount you put in the pot.
With most of the larger leaf teas the best infussion doesn't even come until the third to fifth pot. It can be a fantastic value.

coffee and beer does the same thing to me,how long has it been since your injury cause only after 1 and a half year i can feel now when i need to go to bathroom and if i lave it a bit to long i leak.if you feel shiffers or any thing abnormal go cathirise cause what happens to me if i was suppost to catherise i stetched it i tend to leak for about 3 days before it gets right again. good luck
That's a great idea. You can do the same with coffee, throw out the first cup that drop out of the maker, most of the caffeine goes with it.Originally Posted by Juke_spin

A decent infusion of tea will require at least 2 min. with boiling water while removing 95+ % of its caffeine (residing in crystalline form on the surface of the tea leaves) can be accomplished with a few oz. of very hot water infused for twenty seconds.
The caffeine in coffee grounds is part of the integral molecular structure of the coffee; you remove it equally with all the rest of the taste and fragrance factors that make up brewed coffee.
