    TiLite TR and EZ Lock?

I know it's not on the list on the EZ Lock website but since the TR is a "box frame", anyone think an EZ Lock could somehow be attached to the TR frame? Thanks.

The TiLite TR is similar to my Top End Titanium Terminator. I had this bracket fabricated for it.It works with the ezlock.

movin' on mobility here in florida wouldn't do it...they said it would break the integrity of the chair. however the va in tampa had a company that would make adjustments. both jim and i opted against it and he's now using a quickie 2 w/ the ez lock. i think the chair was only 7 lbs heavier but don't quote me on that.

Junkyarddog, Thanks a ton for those great pics. That looks like a terrific setup your got there. It looks good, clean, safe and sturdy. Who did the fabrication...was it a friend, a welder or DME guy? How much weight did it add to your chair?

Stormie, I currently have a Quickie 2HP with an EZ Lock slapped on the frame. I've weighed the EZ Lock components seperately and it adds 12lbs. to the chair.

    Smokey,

I designed the bracket and had a welder/fabricator make it. The black clamps that are bolted to the frame are from a Tilite evo front caster mount. I did not want to weld anything onto the frame. The bracket by it self is 4.5lbs. 1/2" stainless steel, bead blasted to match frame. Add the bolts and clamps and maybe 6lbs. I did not weigh everything together. The bracket actually stiffened the entire frame. The plate on the bracket may look big but you will need it for adjustably of the bolt for the ezlock.
