    Kansas City Hospice, a part of Health Midwest, invites family caregivers to focus on their own needs during a special event

    Kansas City Hospice, a part of Health Midwest, invites family caregivers to focus on their own needs during a special event from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on October 12, 2002, at The Gardens at Barry Road, 8300 NW Barry Road, Kansas City, Mo.

    Speakers and a panel discussion will address the financial, emotional and physical aspects of caregiving. Attendees will have an opportunity to gather resource information and talk to professionals about their caregiving needs. The Gardens will host a free lunch for participants.
    There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required. To register, call (816) 523-9186 ext. 504. Seating is limited. For additional information about the event, call (816) 363-2600 or (816) 584-8699.
    Respite caregivers are available at a reduced cost for this event only from Comfort Keepers. For more information or to schedule a caregiver, call (816) 353-2900 or (913) 648-6838.

    Ironically, a lot of us caregivers can't make to all these meetings because we're too busy - caregiving.
