    Tires...

Does anyone else have a problem with tires wearing out too quick? It seems like every now and then, I get a set of tires that wear out faster than others, especially the 2nd set on a new chair. Can anyone explain this?

depends on the tire & how much you use them

I have that problem with my sport chairs. My fiance and I run the same tires, and we use them the same amount of time (we are both on the same tennis team), but yet, mine wear out faster than his. I have found out that 1.) I weigh more than him, which will wear on the tire differently, and 2.) I tend to stop quickly more often, which also affects the wear of them.

What I found for me is that the Kenda Iron Cap tires seem to last longer for me than the standard primos. I do not know why, but they do. Have you thought about going with a different tire?

Keeping the air pressure right plays a big role as well. Flat tires will ware down faster.

I use the standard 24 x 1 3/8 grey wc tires. Are there any other tire types in that size? Living in a rural area, I don't want to go with a narrow tire, they tend to suck off road. I do get kinda lazy with tire pressure.
