    SP Port

Its been around 3 years since I've had my SP surgery and I notice that it continuosly is trying to heal, so the hole is actually trying to fill in and theres little nubs of fresh exposed meat poking out and sometimes they bleed. I put neosporin and a little pad at night and this tends to help, but my question is after a while has anyobne had to have their port holes like re-reamed out because of this. Is this a frequent operation?

It is normal to have some amount of hypergranulation tissue (proud flesh) at the stoma opening. If it is not leaking, a stoma revision is not needed. You may want to discuss the use of silver nitrate sticks on the proud flesh areas that are excessive or bleed a lot with your urologist.
