    Disability World (A bimonthly web-zine of international disability news and views

    This is a web site that was started by NIDRR (National Institute of Disability Research and Rehabilitation) which is part of the Department of Education of the U.S. government. This site has many articles on international news of disability, independent living, and other aspects of internatal disability. Here is a description of the latest contents of the site:

    DisabilityWorld features new reporters from Afghanistan, Kenya & Madagascar plus interviews and news from 20 countries

    The latest issue of the international webzine,, features articles on national disability policy developments by new frontline reporters in Afghanistan, Kenya and Madagascar, as well as in-depth interviews with an Irish human rights lawyer, a South African champion swimmer, a U.S. Congressman and a British specialist in advancing inclusive education in developing countries.

    Posted on April 1, 2004, this issue of the bi-monthly bilingual magazine published only on the web also includes:
